Over the last few months, the pool water was murky. We received several complaints from residents and we were in contact with our pool company almost daily. The chemicals were set correctly and we also had the pool shocked several times, but nothing was helping. We were told the pool water was safe, but remained murky.

One late night when a board member went to the pool to put the closed sign out so we could shock the pool again, they noticed an irrigation line for the plants was shooting water straight up into the air and into the pool. Since the irrigation system in Carlson Farm uses lake water, this is what was keeping our pool from clearing up!

Once the issue was resolved, the pool cleared up fairly quickly! We apologies for the gross looking water, but know we were working on it the entire time, we just didn’t know what the root cause was.
